***&**SOLD**** Here we have a very nice Remington Model 742 Woodsmaster semi auto rifle chambered in .30-06 caliber. The Woodsmaster is a fast, reliable, accurate and strong gas-operated autoloading rifle. Your second shot, if needed, is there on target, fast. The interior working parts are coated with friction-reducing, dirt resisting DuPont "Teflon-S" resin. This assures all-weather operation, makes cleaning easier and acts as a long-lasting lubricant. The 22 inch barrel has a very good bore with very strong rifling. This rifle has some handling and storage marks but nothing serious. A little bit of finsh has been lost at the muzzle. The rear sight is adjustable for elevation and windage. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope installation and has a bicentennial engraving on the left side. This desirable rifle would make a fine woods gun or addition to a collection. A box is provided.
