Winchester 1873 Deluxe in 44 Cal.
S/N 127190 made in 1883
24" octagon barrel with excellent shiny bore and full length magazine tube.
Strong original blue on barrel and mag tube, fading case colors on receiver and remaining metal components showing strong in protected areas.
This rifle has a factory set trigger and steel crescent buttplate.
Beautifully grained wood is in nice shape with most of its original finish and the elaborate ebony inlay on pistol grip flat. I did note a short, tight crack about an inch up from point of toe.
Original sights consist of a German silver front and Winchester sporting rear.
All mechanical functions seem flawless, tight and crisp including the set trigger.
Comes complete with Cody letter confirming production and features.
