This is a 99D from the 1920's in 300 Savage. The bluing is good, especially the barrel, for a 100 year old rifle. The takedown is nice and snug and works great. What makes this rifle interesting is the heavyweight 24" barrel with dovetail front sight. It balances real well. This is the only 99D I've seen.
