SN: 258. Made in 1941 by Mauser Borsigwalde with a 23.62-inch barrel chambered for the 7.92x57mm rifle cartridge but the gun was subsequently converted to 7.62x51mm by the Israeli government. Overall condition is very good with a bright bore with strong rifling & no oxidation on the metallic parts. The stock has is marked ""7.62"" on the right side just above the buttplate but is otherwise free of the handling wear that one typically encounters on service rifles that have survived a world war. Comes with cleaning rod, leather sling & a bayonet with metal scabbard. Consignment
