SN: 81735. Made at Kokura Arsenal during the 24th series production run with a 25.9-inch barrel chambered for the .30-06 cartridge. Condition overall is fair with original factory finish almost completely worn off of the metal parts & there are some spots of rust oxidation particularly on the buttplate. The wood presents the kind of dings, dents & scratches that one expects to see on a military service rifle that fought a world war. Adjustable rear sight assembly does not have the anti-aircraft arms of earlier Type 99s & the safety is of the simplified type with no knurling. The chrysanthemum has been ground & "".30-06"" is stamped on the left side of the receiver in front of the series number. Consignment
