SN: 5683200. Made in 1955. 30-06 with an HR 9-55 dated 24"" barrel. Bore is shiny with strong rifling. M1 Garand with T105 rear sight, Poppet valve gas cylinder lock screw, ""SA"" marked bolt, and ""SA"" marked radius cut op-rod. Finish is in very good condition with light speckled oxidation present on the right side of the receiver. Stock shows light handling wear with a non serif circle P cartouche on the grip and an RIA cartouche on the left side of the butt stock. Action functions properly. Rifle comes with sling. Overall very good condition example of a near end of production Garand.
