Description:
A very nice Antique Folk Art Weathervane of a horse and rider (Indian?). The Weathervane is hand made from sheet metal and is a large at 23 1/4” wide and 14" High. If you include the display base I have provided it measures 23 1/2” tall. It dates from the early to mid 1900s but could be older, it is hard to tell. The Weathervane is in very good overall condition with a great old gunmetal surface finish, that appears to be original. Has a hollow body form with a beautiful folk art appearance. A collector antique of beauty and rarity. The iron stand is included.
