This 1965 Savage 99 DL (Deluxe) is in good overall condition incorporating the best features of the newer and older models: it retains the cartridge counter and cocking indicator but has the newer style upper tang safety much more user friendly than the older lever safety. A more modern feature is the handsome decorative engine turned bolt and gold trigger while the lever (esp the parts not normally exposed to the enviornment have good case color remaining and it was factory drilled and tapped for a scope and comes with Weaver type 2 piece mounts ready for your scope (we have many excellent used scopes...inquire) Bore is excellent
