This is the very first produced of the 16000 series guns (SN:16000) all were lightweight boxlock ejectors with 27" barrels and 2 1/2" chambers. Approximately 100 were made between 1934-1939.
Fine condition overall with deep blacked barrels and nitre blued screws and pins.
This is one of the lightest 2 1/2" chambered guns I have had and will no doubt be a joy to carry & shoot in the field.
