Description:
Serial number 56. This is the 56th gun made by this custom gunmaker. Sedgley Custom Rifle in .30-06. Built on 1903 Springfield Action, 24" inch barrel with a very nice bore. I will rate it at least an 8.5 on a scale from 1 to 10. It has a Ziel Dialyt scope which has the vertical post and fine horizontal line (clear optics / tiny mark on glass). Barrel shows 85 to 90% deep original blue. Case colors still showing on the safety. Barrel and scope do show handling marks. Stock in nice condition but shows use and the normal handling marks you would expect to see from a rifle of this vintage. There is a replacement piece of wood on right sight where a receiver sight once was. Floor plate is engraved with the original owners name. Up for sale is just a well above average R.F.
