For consideration is an FN Browning Model 1922 .32 ACP made in Belgium. Made circa 1942-1943 in Herstal, Belgium, near Liège. This pistol is a variant of the Model 1910 and is known as the Model 1922 or 1910/22 with a production run beginning with the Model 1910 in 1910 and continuing with the Model 1922 until 1983. This FN Model 1922 semi-automatic pistol was designed by John Browning and manufactured by Fabrique Nationale of Belgium. As is this pistol, Model 1910/1922 pistols went on to see extensive service in World War II and continued to be manufactured by the Germans after their occupation of Belgium and seizure of the FN factory.
