Description:
Vintage Winchester model 54, 270, four digit serial number, bolt action rifle. The model 54 was the beginning design of the model 70 that we have today. The riflemans riifle. This rifle is in great shpe. It has minor freckeling on the nickel steel barrel. The lands and grooves are well defined. Wood is solid with no cracks or chips. Checkering is smooth to the touch but easily seen. There is normal wear from use and age. Make a great shooter. Manufactured in 1925.
