Description:
Colt 1851 Navy in .36 caliber. This Colt has seen some use but is complete minus a screw. Not sure on the year because the serial numbers were removed quite awhile ago, possibly even during a conflict/war to hide who actually owned it. Not sure if it was a captured piece by a confederate soldier, I cant tell. Nevertheless you can still read the Colt address on the barrel and the Colt and scene on the cylinder. Currently wont hold the cocking position unless you manipulate the trigger. The Trigger spring is new but will need adjustment for cocking position. Has potential for a collector
