A factory letter accompanies this wonderful investment grade Smith & Wesson Pre War .22/32 Kit Gun confirming the desirable configuration and detailing its single-unit special order on June 24, 1940 to Weeds & Company in Rochester, New York. The gun is equipped with a 4” barrel, original bight blue finish and the numbers matching checkered walnut silver medallion two-screw extension target stocks. This fantastic and virtually as-new 83 year old Kit Gun comes in the equally mint maroon patent display box with the caution flyer and twisted wire cleaning brush. The gun retains 99%+ on the original bright blue finish, the bore and cylinder chambers are mint and the checkered target stocks are every bit as crisp and fine as the gun itself. A must own I-Frame S&W that will take years and years to find again.
