Description:
Colt Frontier Six Shooter revolver chambered in .44 WCF (.44-40 Winchester). Introduced in 1877, the Frontier Six Shooter model was chambered in .44-40 Winchester and marketed to compliment the Winchester Model 1873 rifle. The serial number (244463) indicates that the revolver was manufactured in 1903. Features include a 7-1/2 inch blued barrel and color casehardened frame with stag grips. The included factory letter indicates the revolver was shipped to the Winchester Repeating Arms Company on 15 August 1904. .44-40 Winchester
