SN: E533. This Moschetto M38 was made in Gardone Val Trompia in 1939 with an 18.5-inch barrel chambered for the 7.35x51mm rifle cartridge. Overall very good condition with a bright bore & wood that shows all of the dings, dents & scratches that one typically sees on a military service rifle but it is otherwise serviceable. The stock is marked ""FAG 39"" on the left side in front of the sling bar & that stands for ""Fabbrica d'Armi di Gardonne"" & the year the gun was manufactured. Comes with a leather sling & a 12-inch folding spike bayonet. Consignment
