1911A1 Manufactered by ITHACA GUN COMPANY. Serial no.867549 produced in 1943. Ithaca produced 335,466 during WWII. The sandblasted DULITE blue finish was only applied to roughly the first 35,000 pistols.This pistol retains a true 98-99% ORIGINAL FINISH. It has typical rough machining marks found on many Ithacas. These early guns were supplied with HIGH STANDARD barrels.This one has great bore with just a bit of frosting in the grooves. It has a Scovill magazine. Action is fine.
