Built at the turn of last century, the King Street shop opened in 1898 and closed in 1914 .
30" fluid steel tubes, fitted lumps, reproofed pre 1925 to 3" chambers and 1 1/2oz. Bores are .731" and .731" , walls .033" and .033", chokes are .019" mod and .034" full. Very light pitting throughout the bores. Flat rib, side clips, Greener cross bolt and proper weight at 7 Lbs. even, balancing at the hinge. Tight on face. Bar action rebounding locks with nice trigger pulls. 70% coverage of scroll engraving.
Solid stock, flush with the metal, with an open pistol grip and tear drops. Length of pull of 14 1/2" over a 1/4" butt plate, drop is 1 1/2" and 2 1/4" , cast off 1/4".Blank gold escutcheon. Fresh from a complete refinish by Pete Mazur in California, with some light handling marks.
