This is the Second Model, 7th Variation Premier Model revolver manufactured by Harrington & Richardson between 1925-1942 featuring a new, updated frame design. These rugged top-break revolvers saw use in World War II by the OSS. This example remains in excellent condition with about 97-99% of the original bright nickel finish showing only minor handling marks. The trigger and trigger guard retain full blue finish while the hammer has robust case-hardened colors. The unnumbered, checkered hard rubber factory grips feature their signature bullseye target logo, rosette around the screw escutcheons, and rate excellent. This model was one of the last H&R revolvers to use the "Smoot" type grips. It features fixed sights, the barrel and cylinder are numbered to the gun, barrel to frame fit is tight, and it appears to function mechanically. An excellent Premier that will add to any collection.
