You're looking at a one hundred fourteen year old Classic. This little Carbine was made in 1910. Sure doesn't look it .
I'm sure it has taken it's share of Western game and it is ready for another 100 years of the same! This gun has been very well cared for. It shows almost no sign of wear. Certainly no misuse! It's as clean inside as out. We took it down looking for signs of wear, dirt, rust, corrosion, etc. We found none of the above. It has a 20 inch barrel with a bore that looks new! It is the 30WCF caliber which is exactly the same as 30/30. It has the most desirable long range elevator sight. It has the saddle ring. The action is smooth, as it should be. We loaded it with three 30/30 shells, fired them in about one second . The blueing is fading but still looks very good . So does the wood. It has no chips or deep gouges or cracks or splits. I just want to say this. I've never seen this age model 94 in this fine condition. Is it like new, no but it ain't far away!
Bottom line, This is a very good gun that's ready for the field or the safe. Thanks, Ed
By the way, I have seen one similar 94 for sale. It sold for 4000.00 year ago.
