Here's the Belgium Browning s/a 22 you have always admired. This is the Shorts Only version, very hard to find.
Says on the barrel, " SHORTS SMOKELESS" . We took this little guy apart looking for some issue like dirt, corrosion, rust, wear or any sign of poor maintenance. We found none of the above! Inside is as clean as the outside. Shows no sign of wear! Not bad for 60 years old.
The wood shows some light handling marks, nothing into the wood . The blue is excellent. It is grooved for scope mounting.
These guns are known to be very accurate. They are also rated as the finest s/a 22 ever built, by anyone!
Bottom line is this. This is just one very fine 22 rifle. Thanks, Ed
