Description:
This is a used smith and wesson nightguard chambered in 41 magnum. My research indicates the gun has a weight of 30 oz. It features a lightweight frame, stainless steel cylinder, and a stainless lined barrel. The barrel is 2.5" long. It is in great shape. Gun comes with original grips and nightsights. The front sight had lost its ability to work like it should as they are designed to last around five years. So, i had my gunsmith put on a new front sight. He couldn't get an original sight for it due to all the red tape involved in getting one. He also polished and smoothed up any trigger parts and he installed a lighter hammer spring. He measured trigger pull weight before and after. Double acion was 11.5 lbs and was reduced to 9.25 lbs. Single action was 4.25 lbs and was reduced to 2.75 lbs. The original front sight and hammer spring wll be shipped with the gun. Gun is not perfect. It has some small scratches, but its lock up and cylinder play are no more than normal. If you would like some additional 41 magnum accessories such as brass cases and old school lee loader, i have those as well. Due to its stainless steel cylinder, it should be capable of firing some fairly stout loads. These have been discontinued by the manufacturer for many years. Nightguards are extremely hard to find, especially one chambered in 41 magnum. Would make a nice carry gun due to its light weight.
