Remington Model 550 -1 Semi - Auto .22 Rifle - Smooth one piece pistol grip style stock , forend and butt plate. 24 In. long barrel with open adj. rear sight and a front bead sight. Tubular magazine will accept 20 Short, 17 Long and 15 LR ammo. Receiver was factory drilled for scope. Includes a Weaver N2 scope bracket and a Weaver Model B4 scope in very good condition with clear lens. Bore is clean and bright. Barrel and receiver are retainig approx. 95% plus bluing. Power piston and floating chamber are like new. Stock and forend are in excellent condition with very few minimal handling marks. Includes a new soft sleeve. The overall condition is exceptional as this rifle had very limited use . The 550-1 known as extremely reliabile and a very accurate shooter. Manufactured from 1941 to 1970. This one was born in 1953. Very nice addition to any collection.
