Description:
CLASSIC 1894 OCTAGON RIFLE, .32 WS CALIBER, #250XXX, MADE 1905. Barrel shows fine blue with excellent markings and only lightly thinning. It is fitted with a Marbles buckhorn rear sight (needs elevator bar only) and a blade/bead front sight. Mag tube blue thinning a bit and mixing more brown. Receiver shows good blue on the sides with some thinning and wear to the blue on top/bolt. Stock looks to have been lightly "gone over" but not heavily sanded etc. Fine forend shows normal light handling with small chip at top forward edge . Tight action with strong safety half-cock on the hanner. Exc. screws. Bore shows some light wear and is a little dark with good rifling all the way through with any any corrosion light and scattered. 119 year old Winchester with nice appearance.
