Description:
This 'last ditch' Type 99 Series 21 Arisaka is in quite nice condition. There are some defects, but it is hard to tell how much is due to handling and how much is due to cost-cutting measures. Near the end of WWII, the factories were implementing cost-cutting measures anywhere they could from installing rudimentary sights to beech butt caps. The machining was limited to the places where it was absolutely required and polishing was nearly non-existent. This one also includes a bayonet that was manufactured by the Toyodah Automatic Loom Works under Nagoya Arsenal supervision. 7.7 Japanese
