Here's a real beauty! This is an unfired Weatherby Mark V Deluxe "35th Anniversary" rifle. Manufactured in 1980 to commemorate the 35 years since the founding of the company in 1945. This rifle is chambered for the .270 Weatherby Magnum and wears a 24" barrel without sights. It has a specially selected super fancy walnut stock with LOTS of figure. It features the typical Weatherby lines and has a raised cheekpiece, rosewood grip cap, rosewood forend tip, fancy checkering, factory pad, and gold plated swivel studs. The right side of the butt has a special brass and enamel commemorative plaque. The metal has the high polish blue finish and specially engraved 35th Year Commemorative floorplate. Condition is excellent-plus...there is almost zero wear on this rifle. Also included are the original gold-plated sling swivels. This is a real beauty for the Weatherby collectors out there.
