Description:
20 gauge Beretta model 424 SxS Shotgun in excellent condition. 28 inch extractor barrels with 2 3/4 in chambers to perfect bores. Barrels are Beretta Excelsior High Strength steel with Purdey style double bite. Barrels tight to face. Full set Italian proof marks. Solid tapered rib to single silver bead. Articulated front trigger. Stock and fore-end in excellent condition, with very few marks. Wood finish excellent. Equipped with newer Decelerator recoil pad. Capped pistol grip stock. Small beavertail fore-end. This model shotgun originally equipped with sling swivels, which have been removed, with filled holes in the stock bottom and bottom rib. All components have matching S/N A07452A.
Stock measurements are LOP - 14 1/8 in, DAC - 1 1/2 in, DAH - 2 1/4 in. Weight is 6 lb, 7 oz. Tapered rib measures 3/8 in (breech) to 3/16 in (muzzle). Barrels choke originally marked M/F, but measures IC (.005) right, LM (.010) left - perfect chokes for upland bird hunting, and now steel shot compatible.
