Description:
1982 Nickel Colt Detective Special with scarce 3" barrel. The serial number dates production to 1982 and, according to the included Colt Archives Letter, shipped in July of 1983. This revolver is "as new" in the original box. Original literature include the "Colt Instruction Manual", "Colt Firearms Authorized Repair Service Stations" booklet, "The Colt Companion" booklet and "Welcome Letter". Overall condition rates at least 99% with no detractions. The original box end flap label was present at the time of my purchase several years ago but became detached during shipping. Unfortunately my local receiving dealer mistakenly discarded the label with the packing material before I arrived for pick up. An excellent collector package of a scarce finish and barrel length combination.
