Description:
Remington Sportsman 58 12 gauge 2 3/4" shells 28" barrel shotgun made in 1956 which is the first year of production! It features gas operated semi automatic firing, 3 shot magazine capacity, engraved receiver, blued finish, checkered walnut furniture with pistol grip stock, pistol grip cap with dog, Dial-A-Matic load control, plain barrel with silver bead front sight, plastic butt plate, modified choke, trigger guard mounted safety, and 14 inch length of pull. The finish is bright with some normal signs of age related loss and blemishes. It functions great with a smooth action and strong ejection. The bottom of the wrist has a very small repairable stress crack as shown. The barrel has a smooth shiny bore. Great shotgun for bird hunting! Please refer to the photos for the overall condition.
