**SOLD** For consideration is a very nice Colt New Frontier single action revolver in .22 long rifle. The New Frontier is similar in size (7/8 scale so a little smaller) to the Peacemaker, has a flat top and has adjustable rear and ramp front sights. The 6" barrel has a very good bore with strong rifling. It has been shot a little and has some muzzle wear and a few handling marks but nothing serious. Grips are black hard rubber/plastic in the traditional Colt "American Eagle" pattern. These guns are properly carried with the hammer down on an empty chamber. They should never be carried fully loaded with six cartridges, even with the hammer in the so-called "safe" (1/4 cock) position. The gun is in very good mechanical and physical condition. The case hardening still has very good color and the grips are free of cracks or chips. A Colt presentation case comes with the gun. This is a fine example of a New Frontier .22 and would be a great addition to a collection or a classic shooter since it isn't unfired.
