This listing is for a very nice US M5A1 bayonet made by MIL PAR COL with a nice USM8 scabbard. I had this one on my last M1 in my collection until I sold the rifle. The metal show light use from inserting and removing it from the scabbard. The edge has not been sharpened and the metal retains about 90% original parkerized finish. The grips are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips.
The scabbard is a very good US M8 scabbard by B M Co. There are no cracks in the fiberglass and the webbing is in very nice condition. This version has the tiny drain hole drilled in the front half of the scabbard and does not have the hole all the way through for a string tiedown as later ones did. The back of the canvas is marked C154. Please look at the photos, as this is the bayonet and scabbard you will receive. Shipping is $15, making the total $65.
