Description:
22 inch round barrel chambered in 45-70 caliber with a good bore that needs a cleaning. Blade front and continuous curved base carbine rear sight. Barrel is a brown/gray patina. Breechblock marked "1873" and has good traces of case color as does the tang. Lockplate markings are clear along with most other markings. Overall wood fits very well with minor losses. There are a few well-done patches in the stock. Original saddle ring, buttplate and stacking swivel. Cleaning rod in the butt. Excellent mechanics. A nice little carbine! 83,XXX serial range
