Winchester – Model 70 Featherweight – Pre-64 – 30-06 - Stk #C490
This 30-06 Winchester Model 70 Featherweight has a manufacture date March 1956. This rifle has a Featherweight 22” blued tapered round barrel. The rear sight is an elevation adjustable Marble semi buckhorn with a hooded front bead sight. The metal and finish are in good to very good condition with light scratches and finish wear throughout. The bore is in very good condition with clean sharp rifling. The bolt locks up tight and operates as intended. The checkered Walnut stock is in good condition with the exception of usage marks and the removal of the checkering from being refinished. The stock is mounted with an aftermarket steel checkered butt plate. Length of pull is 13-5/8”, overall length is 42-5/8”, and weight is 7.0 lbs. Our stock number is #C490.
