Description:
The rifle is an early Big Timber Shiloh M1874 custom rifle. I am the second owner of the rifle. The original owner had a Badger #2 bull barrel installed by C Sharps Arms. The barrel is 34 inches in length...chambered in .45 2 7/8 or .45-110.....mimicking the 16 pound rifle. I personally shipped the rifle back to Shiloh Sharps for an install of a pewter forearm...glass bedded...a wood refinish....and overall inspection. The rifle comes with a Midrange and Longrange Lee Shaver soule rear sights....along with Shaver front globe with spirit level and inserts. I only put 17 rounds of grease groove bullets through her. I don't believe the original owner did much more. The rifle condition is excellent to mint overall with a mint condition bore. The Badger bore is like glass. This rifle includes dies, large quantity of Norma .45 Basic brass...few pieces of Jamison, grease groove and paper patch bullets(BACO), Lyman Postell mould(unused) and all paperwork documenting work done. The original rifle hang tag is included. There are over 200 pcs of Norma basic 2.88 included with the rifle....along with a Pelican hard rifle case. Thank you and God bless.
