Description:
This is a very nice National Postal Meter Carbine initially issued to the US military in early 1944. This particular example was re-worked after the war and converted into a sniper configuration. It has been equipped with a really nice M82 scope - very clear optics. Marlin barrel. The right side of the butt stock is NPM marked and has a cross-canon military cartouche. The left side of the stock is "ARAF" marked. The finish on the metal parts rates about 90% with minor thinning on the receiver. Minty wood furniture. Stone-mint bore.
