Higgins Model 31 - Semi - Auto .22 Rifle - Smooth two piece walnut pistol grip style stock and forend , butt plate and retractable 1 In. wide carry sling in excellent condition. 24 In . long barrel with open adj. rear sight and a ramped front bead sight. Tubular magazine will accept 24 short, 19 long and 17 LR ammo. 41.75 In. overall lenght. Receiver grooved for scope. Includes a New Barska 4x20 scope , rings and lens covers. Bore is clean and bright . Barrel and receiver retaining approx. 95% bluing. Stock and forend are in excellent condition with a few minimal handling marks. Includes a new soft sleeve. Overall condition is excellent and rifle does not appear to have had much use. Manufactured from 1953 to 1962 . Collector quality.
