Description:
The SIG Sauer® P229® Legion RXP Semi-Auto Pistol with Romeo1Pro Optic Package is finished in a proprietary Legion gray PVD coating and features an optics-cut slide with the Romeo1Pro red-dot sight mounted. The P229 is compact enough to carry concealed, while offering exceptional ergonomics and balance to deliver major firepower when needed. The P229 Legion comes with an enhanced polished action, and an SRT (Short-Reset Trigger) augmented with a Gray guns Inc., P - SAIT trigger. The trigger is intermediate length, and adjustable for overtravel. A reduced and contoured Elite beavertail, and an X-Five undercut trigger guard allow for a higher grip, putting the shooter's hand in closer alignment with the bore line for greater fire control. Other combat enhancements include custom G-10 grips, aggressive checkering on the front strap and trigger guard, and front and rear cocking serrations on the slide. Electro-Optics X-RAY3 high-visibility, 3-dot, suppressor-height, tritium sights are quick to acquire in most any lighting. The rear sight is also serrated to eliminate glare in full sunlight. The frame features an integral 3-lug Picatinny rail for attaching aftermarket sights and lights. The P229 operates with a double action/single action design, with only 3 controls: the slide stop, the magazine release, and the decocker, enabling the pistol to be deployed quickly without having to flip a mechanical safety on or off. Sig semi-automatic pistols have several built-in safety features, including a hammer block and firing pin block that make them suitable for safe carry.
