Description:
For your consideration, a Winchester M1 Garand chambered in .30-06 Springfield. Dubbed by General Patton as "the greatest battle implement ever devised," the M1 Garand faithfully saw the US through the Second World War and Korea and served many other forces abroad beyond. The trigger guard and hammer are likewise of Winchester make. The bolt, trigger pack, op rod, and barrel are all Springfield; the latter of which dates to May of '46. The receiver dates to July of 1944. Notably, this example features a milled trigger guard and a lockbar-type rear sight knob. .30-06 Springfield
