Description:
Remington Model 95 Type 2 DERRINGER PISTOL. Cal. 41RF. S# 433. Bbl 3". Model 95 derringer pistol manufactured by Remington. The top of the barrel is stamped "REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILION N.Y." over the rib. Major metal components exhibit a lustrous blued finish, with some small parts being nitre blued. Frame is mounted with 2 piece checkered black hard rubber grips. Matching assembly or batch number "433" is stamped on the left side of the frame beneath the grip, and is faintly legible on the underside of the barrel. Overall condition is excellent with good bore.
This iconic model Derringer pistol is perhaps the most recognizable handgun worldwide. Mostly due to its extensive use in Western movie production shown stuck in a soiled Doves garter or a Gamblers vest pocket. This gun was produced between 1888-1892 . This Remington is a Gem.
