Description:
Serial #29107, 7.65mm Para. (.30 Luger), 4 3/4" barrel with a fine, bright bore that has a small amount of mild freckling within the grooves. This is a handsome pistol that has all-matching numbers (including the grip panels), and retains 95-97% of the original blue on the metal. There is some mild silvering at the muzzle, along the high and exposed edges, as well as a few small spots of freckling scattered about. Additionally, there is a small area of discoloration on the right side of the receiver just ahead of the toggle disk. The trigger, take-down lever, magazine release, safety, and ejector retain most of their original straw color, with the balance turned to a mottled pewter gray patina. The checkered walnut grips are in fine shape with some small handling marks here and there, some flattening of the points, and no cracks or chips. The pistol comes with a single, correct, unmarked wooden base magazine, and a period leather lanyard on the rear of the frame. This is a splendid Swiss-made Luger, and is in excellent condition. It would make a wonderful addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
