*** SOLD *** SOLD *** "Collector grade" engraved 1953 Savage 99EG 300 Savage (serial # 713446) with 24" barrel, shiny bore, in "just about mint" condition. I'll start by saying Woooow! You are about get an eyeful of some of the best extensive full coverage deep relief engraving and beautiful woodwork that I have seen in a very long time on any gun. This rifle will give the Savage 99PE a run for it's money, with professionally executed flora, fauna and scroll deep relief engraving, with very realistic renditions of a mountain lion and whitetail buck and doe coming out in 3D from the surface of the receiver, and last, but not least, a case hardened rotor to top it off. And then there's the blend of just gorgeous highly figured wood, accented by rosewood at the forearm tip and grip cap. I would hate to venture at what this rifle would cost to duplicate today. Look at all the many pictures, and then call or e-mail to make this "one of" engraved Savage 99 yours ! $100 S&H to most of the lower 48. Eight far west states at $120 S&H.
