Beautiful 1960 Colt Python with a 4 inch barrel that has been engraved by master engraved Bill Johns. BT initials stamped under the trigger guard, there are also 3 initials lightly engraved under the barrel, I'm assuming probably from a previous owner who commissioned the engraving. The revolver is in really nice shape, the bluing was left on the top strap all the way down the back strap, bluing was also left in the cylinder flutes and the inside of the trigger guard to give the gun a conservative pinto appearance.
The grips are in nice shape with sharp checkering, they have been modified on the back bottom, I was hoping to find a nice pair of stags or ivories for it but haven't been able to yet. The engraving stops at the top of the stocks so target size stocks would be necessary.
The revolver was shipped in November 1960 per Colt archives.
