Description:
This Marlin Model 336, serial #231058xx, was made by Marlin in 1977 in North Haven, CT. It has a walnut pistol-grip stock and forend, standard-sized finger lever and gold-colored trigger. It has a 20" barrel and full-length tubular magazine that holds six rounds of .30-30 Win. The bore is nice with good rifling. The receiver is blued and has a loading gate on the right side. This rifle came from the factory with a Marlin-branded scope (Japanese manufacture) mounted to the rifle. The rifle also has adjustable semi-buckhorn sights and a hooded front sight blade. The hammer has a offset spur to allow clearance around the scope. The stock has checkering on the pistol grip and forend and a black Marlin polymer buttpad.
