Description:
Serial #6895, .38 New Police (.38 S&W), 4" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1906-made revolver that has retained 92-95% of the original bright blue finish, with some thin freckling and silvering at the muzzle, as well as along the high and projecting edges. Additional freckling is present on the heel of the backstrap. The checkered hard rubber "COLT" grips are numbered to the gun on the interior, and are in fine shape, with some mild flattening of the points, as well as some discoloration to dark brown on both panels. Marked "New Police on the side plate and Police Positive on the barrel. The lock-up and timing are good and the revolver rates fine-near excellent overall. FFL or C&R
