Description:
Southerner Derringer by Merrimack Arms, .41 Rimfire. Manufactured after the Civil War with about 16,000 being produced from 1866 to 1873. Serial number 3552, barrel matches the frame. Barrel, trigger, and hammer have had blue reapplied in the years past. Receiver is in original condition and still exhibits some silver plating remaining. Functions as it should and extractor is still present. Bore is dark and has pitting. Grips are in fair condition, left panel has a hairline crack (see pic). All in all a decent Southerner Derringer for the money. Please feel free to ask questions.
