We are offering for a sale a Winchester Model 94 lever action rifle chambered in .30-30 WCF caliber. This is a PRE-64 rifle with serial number 14885XX inidcating manufacture between 1943-1947. The gun remains in good overall condition with obvious signs of wear from age and use. This is a FLAT BAND model.
20" barrel is very good with nice blue finish. The bore is suprisingly bright and shiny with crisp rifling. This thing would make a great shooter!! The receiver has good blue finish; Receiver has been fitted with a Lyman rear peep sight. Lever action functions flawlessly. Original stock and fore-end are very good with proud wood; One spot of discoloration on left side of shoulder stock looks to have possibly filled in a knot or ding in the wood. No breaks or cracks noted. Metal buttplate.
