We are offering for sale a Remington Model 788 bolt action rifle chambered in .222 Rem caliber. This rifle remains in good to very good condition. The rifle comes with original 4rd magazine.
24" barrel is very good to excellent with minimal blue wear. The rifle sights have been removed and filler screws are installed. The action is fair to good with oxidation wear on the right side which travels down to the action base. This oxidation does not affect the gun whatsoever. Bolt action functions flawlessly. The original stock is very good with some light handling wear; No breaks or cracks. Original buttplate very good without damage.
