**SOLD** For consideration is a clean Beretta Model 1934 pistol in .380 ACP caliber. The Beretta Model 1934 is an Italian compact, semi-automatic pistol which was issued as the service pistol of the Royal Italian Army beginning in 1934. As the standard sidearm of the Italian army it was issued to officers, NCOs and machine gun crews. It is chambered for the .380 ACP caliber. After the war, the M1934 continued to serve Italy’s military into the 1960s, and with the Italian police through the 1970s. A post-war version of the 1934 model was known as the Cougar. Those made for export to the United States have the “Cougar” name on the pistol. This example is in quite nice condition with some high edge wear but nothing serious. The grips are free of cracks or chips. The barrel has a good bore with very good rifling. This pistol has not been shot or carried very much at all. Sights are a simple "v" notch rear and a small blade front. This is a very cool pistol that has the open top slide used later in the Beretta 92 series. This fine Beretta would be a great addition to a collection or even a classic concealed carry pistol where allowed by state and local laws.
