Description:
For sale is a pre-64 Winchester Model 70, 300 H&H Bull Gun. The rifle was manufactured in 1961 having serial number 506620. The bolt is correctly serial numbered to the rifle. The rifle remains 100% original showing no signs of wear on the wood or metal finishes. All finishes appear to be original. The bore is perfect showing no signs of wear or pitting. The rifle was delivered with a Lyman 48 receiver sight and model 77 front sight. The front sight is designed to allow interchangeability of the aperture. The rifle includes the correct hand stop on the stock fore end. The bottom metal, floor plate and trigger guard are excellent and original.
The trigger has no creep and releases at about 2lbs no over-travel. The rifle has the original & correct sling swivels attached. The rifle remains in near perfect condition. This rifle will make a nice addition to your Model 70 collection.
Please note that the scope shown mounted is not included and has been removed from the rifle.
