Winchester pre 64 model 1894 in the desireable 38-55 WCF with the takedown option. Built in 1900,this rifle is in all original unaltered condition. It has a 26" round barrel with an excellent bore. The rifle retains 70% of the original blue and 95% of the original wood finish. The stock and forend are sound with no cracks or damage.The stock retains the original crescent buttplate. The action works smoothly and the trigger is crisp and strong. The rifle takes down easily and goes back together with no play or loosenes.
